Services at

St. Mary’s Kentchurch

Sunday, 12 July

There will not be the usual second Sunday service in July. But a special service will be held at St James’s, Llangua, on the fourth Sunday.

Sunday, 26 July, 3:00pm

Evening Prayers led by The Rev’d Luci Morriss will be held at St James’s, Llangua, followed by refreshments, by kind permission of Friends of Friendless Churches.

The parish of Llangua has been amalgamated with that of Kentchurch and this is an opportunity to celebrate that on ther day after the feast of St James.

Parking at the church is very limited and the turning off the A465 must be carried out with considerable care. As far as possible anyone wishing to attend the service is advised to talk to others also attending and where possible car share, perhaps leaving cars not used in Ewyas Harold. Crossing lanes to turn to the church drive from the A465 if heading from Ewyas Harold can be perilous, so drivers are advised to carry on along the A465 a little further to a drive-in layby. Emerging from the layby to return to the A465 towards Ewyas is rather less fraught. However, spotting the entrance to the drive can also be difficult. There will be a brightly jacketted attendant to indicate the entrance.

Subsequent Months

Services held at 10:30am, on the second Sunday of the month, alternating between Holy Communion and Morning Service.
